ADB, still the initials of its founding father Adrien de Backer in 1920, is from 1947 on active in the world of Airfield Ground Lighting with a complete range of own products and systems. ADB became a leader in the field, the best candidate to improve the synergy of the activities in the area of airfield lighting and project management of Siemens AG of Germany in the late eighties. As a centre of competence for airfield lighting within the Siemens Company, today, ADB is still setting the industrial standards in the business, supporting airports in enhancing their safety, efficiency, availabilty and maintainability.
