EUROSENSE is probably one of the most prominent commercial remote sensing organizations with branches in Belgium (Wemmel, near Brussels), The Netherlands, Germany, France,Hungary, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.Services include: aerial photography, aerial LIDAR (aerial laser scanning for height measurements), photo interpretation, processing and interpretation of digital satellite images, production of photogrammetric and topographic maps, GIS/LIS and AM/FM database development and consultancy, city and landscape planning, inventory of forests and natural resources, digital orthophotography, cartography, hydrography, environmental studies, and lots of other activities. All production steps, from the photography up to the finalized product, are fully integrated within the company, in order to meet the highest standards for quality, precision and reliability.

Color negative films (Colenta 30/C41/70 processor) and colour negative paper are offered as well.Thermal and multispectral remote sensing data acquisition: the Daedalus digital multispectral scanner can be used on board of the aircraft, if required in combination with two Leica RC30 cameras. Height measurements: aerial LIDAR (aerial laser scanning technology) or Airborne Laser Scanner (ALS) of LH Systems provide highly accurate DTMís (Digital Terrain Models) and DEMís (Digital Elevation Models) using a LIDAR .Digital colour, colour infrared and black-and-white orthophotomaps: the unique EUDICORTÆ system (EUrosense DIgital Cartographic ORThophoto system), allowing precise radiometric and geometric corrections and as such obtaining digital orthophotomaps of the highest quality, makes UROSENSE a world leader in this field, EUROSENSE being the first company worldwide using this system in 1988.Hydrographic surveys: BEASACÆ (Belfotop Eurosense Acoustic-Sounding Air Cushion platform) developed by EUROSENSE , a unique system for fast and accurate bathymetric soundings (single beam and multibeam) by means of an air-propellered hovercraft.

One of the world's most advanced high technology map and image production facilities are situated over a surface of more than 10.000 m?.- a aircraft fleet of four twin-engined survey aircraft equipped with a highly precise satellite navigation system (Computer Controlled Navigation System: CCNS) based on GPS. Most survey aircraft are provided with two or three camera and scanner holes. - six photogrammetric Leica RC30 cameras equipped with the complete series of lenses (f=9, 15, 21, 30 cm), FMC (Forward Motion Compensation), and AMC (Angular Motion Compensation = Stabilised Mount). Position and attitude of the camera at the instant of exposure (external orientation) can be determined by a POS/DG (Position and Orientation System/Direct Georeferencing).- photogrammetric equipment with 9 analytical photogrammetric instruments (Leica SD 2000), as well as 33 digital photogrammetric or softcopy instruments (SOCET SET).

International (EC, World Bank) as well as national and regional governments, cities and municipalities, public and private service corporations, and consultancy firms are part of EUROSENSEís clientele PARTNERSHIPSESRI Inc. and EUROSENSE are partners in ESRI BeLux, the official distributor in Belgium and Luxembourg of the ESRI GIS software. ArcGIS, MapObjects, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, etc. are developed by ESRI in Redlands, California (USA). ESRI BeLux (EUROSENSE) is also official distributor of the ERDAS image processing software for Belgium and Luxembourg.
