Overview Established in 1982, Punch International is a Belgian industrial group active in the electronics industry. Over the years, Punch has evolved from a manufacturer of electronic components, to a company where technology, research and development play a prominent role. Punch focuses on providing total solutions. Today Punch operates in part as a subcontractor providing tailor-made services to the television and consumer electronics industries. In addition, it also provides complete systems, services, and consumer goods to end-users in the graphics industry. Employing more than 3000 people worldwide, Punch operates in production facilities across Europe , Asia , and North and South America . In 2002, Punch reached a turnover of EUR 172 million, and realised an internal growth of 15,7%. Since 1999, Punch International is listed on the Brussels Stock Exchange (Euronext), and is part of the NextPrime Index.

Activities: 3 business units Graphical Solutions : Punch develops and produces complete systems and delivers services and consumables to industrial end-users in the Graphics Industry Brands: Xeikon & Strobbe Wireless Applications : Punch develops and produces complete modules in the Telemetry and Telematica Industry Brands: Advantra & Acunia Manufacturing Services : Punch also operates as subcontractor with tailor-made services for the Television, Consumer Electronics, Automotive and Specialised Communication Technology Industries 1. The Metals business unit is an OEM partner for the production of high-tech and high-precision metal components for many of the world market leaders in the display market sector, e.g. rimbands, diaphragms and innercones for CRT displays as well as brackets and frames 2. The Plastics business unit produces housings for consumer electronics appliances. These housings are manufactured according to very high standards thanks to a combination of a wide range of machines and injection moulding techniques 3. The business unit Assemblies coordinates the assembly activities of electronic components and finished products for the consumer and professional electronics market segments
